I am going to vomit. Really!!!

toshiba-qosmio-x305-q7251I bought Toshiba Qosmio, beautiful desktop replacement notebook, before ~ 2 months. In that time i didn't care what OS is on it, i will install FreeBSD. I didn't, till few days before.

Ok, i had plenty work to do and i had to accept this "operating system" called Vista version whatever. I knew i must update it as soon as i touch the net for the 1st time. And here we go, all my troubles began. All this stoped to work in first month:

  1. camera on command key doesn't work any more.
  2. function key gives me the blue screen - BSOD.
  3. some drivers had to reinstall.
  4. only pause, play and stop buttons are working on remote control.
  5. some buttons stoped to work (Sound off/on; WMC button too, Dolby button of course).
  6. lights (led) can't turn off/on.
  7. problem with USB ports etc etc...

And now i read about Windows 7 (new version of Vista) how it will improve your business or any experience. And when i remember various M$ "excellent and best systems": Millenium, famous never released Longhorne, now Vista, upcoming 7... i can't belive that someone will think to buy it.

IT News:

For its part, Microsoft realizes that Windows 7 is an important release not only to get businesses to spend money again, but also to restore their confidence in the OS, he said.

"Microsoft's biggest business is Windows and its most profitable segment for Windows is businesses," Helm said. "It would dearly love to restart business PC sales and get businesses to move up to the most expensive editions of Windows. I think Windows 7 has the potential to help unblock that [spending] holding pattern when the economy recovers."

Uh oh... too much for me.
